Active and sustainable transfer between university, economy, science, society and policy is one of the core fields of activity of the TU Chemnitz. The aim is to make the university’s potential and its results available to business, science, society and policy in research and teaching, thus strengthening the innovative power of industry. The knowledge gained during the transfer process and the cooperative relationships are also intended to improve the university’s knowledge, competence and networking skills.
\nTo support the implementation of a successful transfer strategy, the Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (ZWT) was established as a central institution of the TU Chemnitz. The ZWT collects, bundles and makes visible the university’s offerings in knowledge and technology transfer, processes transfer requests processed and mediated, coordinates and designs transfer processes and initiates, supervises and co-designs transfer projects.<\/p>\n
