The company constantly searches for technologies enabling the reduction of production costs and increased copper and associated metals recovery. It endeavors to protect the natural environment and to ensure the safety of its employess. R&amp;D in KGHM aims at intensifying production, improving the safety of employees, cost optimisation and the implementation of sustainable solutions. Based on new technologies, the company is working on the concept of the intelligent mine, where the human factor will be limited, while the possibilities of using human intellect will be enhanced.
