The invention makes it possible to simulate ageing processes in building materials, in particular in fibre-cement boards, in accordance with the requirements of the PN-EN 12467 and the PN-EN 494 standards.
The simulation of ageing processes consists in the cyclical repetition of the sprinkling and heating process of a given board in a thermally insulated mobile chamber. The chamber is fully automated, thanks to which the desired temperature, heating time, sprinkling time and the number of cycles can be set easily and intuitively. The full test cycle reflects several years of use in changing atmospheric conditions (elevated temperature and rain).
