The goal is to develop optical biosensors for monitoring of presence and quantification of important biomarkers. We develop biosensors for monitoring of both quantitative and qualitative estimation of relevant biomarkers on the patient´s fluids e.g. blood, urine, saliva.
We have designed a concept of an open microchip, comprising an array of microwells (volume 8 μl) and the micropatterned protein binding zones at the bottom of each microwell.
